Mr. Vincent Parker, Jr.

“Vincent Tyrone Parker, Jr, was born on March 30, 1983, to Eugenia Jelks Parker and the late Vincent T. Parker, Sr. Vincent Jr. attended his years of school in Indian River County, graduating from Sebastian River High School with the “Class of 2001.Vincent enjoyed playing football, but his favorite sport was baseball. Under the leadership of Coach George Young, he received a Division 1 scholarship. After graduation he attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. Vincent had a heart of gold and loved his family and friends. He had a passion for baseball and loved teaching and playing with his sons. He coached the little league baseball team for several years. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend to all who knew him. Vincent Jr. last employment was with QB Logistics, beginning in October of 2020. In 2023, he was recognized for his hard work and efforts, being awarded Amazon Driver of the Year. Vincent Jr.is preceded in death by his dad, Vincent Sr., paternal grandparents, Esse Lee and Dove Anna Parker, his maternal grandparents, Johnny (Zella) Jelks and brother-in-law Benjamin Brown. On Saturday, September 28, 2024, Vincent Parker, Jr. transitioned peacefully on his wife’s birthday, surrounded by his family and friends to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his lifetime of memories, his soulmate and wife, Blondell Parker; three sons, Vincent Parker III, Braylen Parker and Cameron; two daughters, Mar’necia and Laysia; mother, Eugenia Jelks Parker; four sisters, Vencynthia (Anthony) Quince Verrenthia (Sebron, Sr.) Joseph, Vanesha Parker (Jerrett) and Vontrisa Parker; three nephews, Anthony Quince, Jayvion Cross and Sebron Joseph,Jr.; two nieces, Skyllar Joseph and Alaysia Quince; one great nephew, Amari Quince; mother-in-law, Patricia Lacey; father-in-law, Kerwin (Tawanna) Effend; two sister-in-laws; Kyrshon Morgan and Lakresha Lacey; a brother-in-law, Jamorrow Effend; maternal grandmother, Willie Pearl Trawick; grandmother-in-law, Patreca Beachem; god sister, Trina Barnes; Special friends, Ryan Brown, Frank Johnson III, Kendrick Willis, Shadrach Richards, Rebecca Beckwith and Byran Hope, a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends.
